Our organisation
Migros’ social commitment brings together regional and national entities of the Migros Group that are engaged in cultural, social, educational, leisure and economic activities to promote cohesion, equal opportunities and participation in Swiss society.
The Migros Culture Percentage is funded equally by the ten regional Migros cooperatives and the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. Its institutions include the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art, the Migros Club School, the Monte Generoso Railway, the four Park im Grünen sites and the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute. The Migros Pioneer Fund operates nationwide and supports innovative approaches to addressing societal challenges. The Migros Support Fund is active at national and international levels.
The Social Commitment Migros Group Directorate of the FMC serves as the competence centre for Migros’ social commitment. It coordinates strategic development and supports collaboration between the entities of the Migros Group.

How we provide support
The Social Commitment Migros Group Directorate of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives decides on Migros’ social commitment on a national scale. Our topics and priorities reflect the latest trends and respond to a public or cultural need. Our modus operandi is agile and unbureaucratic, and we create solution-led, precise, effective programmes. We develop low-threshold proposals that are accessible to a wide audience, but also create targeted offers of support for operators and pioneers. In doing so, we help to transform society.
