Migros Geneva Culture Department
The Migros Geneva Culture Department actively supports local culture by contributing to the creation, organisation and sponsorship of cultural events.
The founder of Migros, Gottlieb Duttweiler, included the Migros Culture Percentage as an independent corporate objective in the articles of incorporation in 1957. Since then, Migros has been committed with passion and vision to a sustainable quality of life and the fostering of social cohesion, not only in its core business, but also far beyond.
Thanks to this commitment, the Migros Geneva Culture Department co-produces theatre and music performances, organises classical music concerts and supports the creation of professional theatre companies in Geneva and Nyon.
Application submission
With the Culture Percentage, the Migros Geneva cooperative provides financial support for various projects in the Geneva and Nyon region, promoting access to culture as well as social and environmental sustainability.
