MyFoodways: A recipe for the environment

Eating is about far more than merely taking in nutrition: it should be healthy, sustainable, seasonal, as well as enjoyable and not wasteful. With the help of the Design Thinking Method and together with its target group – Generation Y – the pioneering MyFoodways project supported by the Migros Pioneer Fund addressed the issue of sustainable food consumption. It used the findings from this guided innovation process to develop an app with recipes. 

Helping the environment in how you eat

The recipes can be personalised to meet the user’s individual preferences and needs. This makes it easy to change eating behaviour and increase awareness for a sustainable lifestyle in a practical way. At the same time, this nutritional method has a positive impact on both the environment and society. The «Good Foodۚ» standards upon which the app is based were developed together with experts from science, business, NGOs and public administration. The independent app is free of charge and available in the App Store
