Twiliner: Travel by overnight coach
The future of travel is sustainable. However, means of environmentally friendly travel are still limited. We need new solutions.
With the support of the Migros Pioneer Fund, Twiliner is supplementing the existing range of sustainable travel options with the overnight sleeper coach of the future. Suited to a flexible range of applications and equipped with innovative high-comfort seats, the low-emissions Twiliner coach can be used in places currently lacking environmentally friendly alternatives.
Safely and comfortably through the night
To take its vision onto the road, the project team and its partners are creating pioneering solutions. The main feature of the coaches – their high-comfort seats with the ability to recline back fully, compliant with European safety guidelines – is something that has never been done before. They need to be developed and approved before the first test routes can go into service.
Together with the development fund, Twiliner wants to do its part in making travel within Europe more sustainable.
