The Migros Culture Percentage is one of the great humanist ideas of founder Gottlieb Duttweiler and has been enshrined in the company’s Articles of Association since 1957. It is a unique approach, based on values that Migros defends as proudly today as it has in the past.
The Culture Percentage’s areas of intervention are artistic, social, economic and leisure activities. The Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FCM) creates and supports projects on a national scale, while the ten cooperatives work in their local area, each determining its own criteria.
