Swing the World and Monte Generoso
The Swing the World project has already built twelve big swing spots in Ticino. The swing on Monte Generoso is the first in the Mendrisiotto region. Two young influencers from Ticino, graphic designer Elisa Cappelletti and video maker Fabio Balassi, started the Swing the World initiative. They came up with the idea during lockdown as a way for people to enjoy the delights of nature.
The Monte Generoso railway was purchased by Migros founder Gottlieb Duttweiler in 1941 and has since belonged to the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. It is supported by the Migros Culture Percentage.
