m2act: funding for the performing arts
From theatre to performance, from dance to the modern circus: m2act is the funding and networking project of the Migros Culture Percentage for the performing arts. We target our funding at creating an impact, create networks for people who work in the cultural sector and support projects that actively work to bring about structural change. We work with people from the industry to secure the future of the performing arts and are committed to promoting fair and ecologically sustainable practices. One of the key elements is m2act’s promotion of cultural co-creation and support of accessible knowledge transfer.

Call for action for fair and sustainable practice in the performing arts: m2act supports cultural practitioners who work with experts to change their working methods sustainably.
The submission deadline is 4 March 2024 at midnight. Entry starts on 5 February 2024!

Networking and funding
m2act supports co-creative projects that contribute to fair and sustainable practices in the performing arts – from small experimental set-ups to large projects with audiences.
Each year, m2act puts on a number of networking events for and with the projects it funds. People who work in the cultural sector and other specialists discuss, share their knowledge, and work together to create and try out forward-thinking ideas and approaches for the performing arts.
Knowledge, insight and practical tips gathered at the events and in supported undertakings are available to all interested parties in a digital toolbox.
