Christina Gabriela Galli (*Zurich, 1993) works in various constellations as a dance maker, moving fluidly between mediation, choreography and production. Christina currently lives in Winterthur, previously in Zurich and Bern, Rio de Janeiro and a few years in Berlin, where she gained studies and experience in the performing arts. Christina is inspired by movement research, experimental music, bodywork, radio art, queerfeminist theories, encounters, contradictions and limitations. Christina currently works at the Theater Konstanz at Theater hinter Gittern, is responsible for the project management for movo - Verein für darstellende Künste mit gehörlosen und hörenden Menschen, occasionally writes for Intrige - Magazin für junges Theater, makes Radia once a month for Radio Lora, leads theatre and dance courses at Tanzhaus Zürich, among others, and above all realises her own projects, from audio dance walks to site-specific performances.

Project

Christina Gabriela Galli and Nadja Dias want to use the double mentoring to answer the following questions together:

Which partners are a good fit for Christina, both artistically and in terms of presentations and productions?

  • How does she build up her artistic activities and connections in order to see and understand more clearly how she can integrate the different areas of her work with one another?
  • What production structures does it need to build presentation partnerships with its existing works in order to realize new productions in the medium and long term?

Together they will work out a medium to long-term plan that offers space for the development of new artistic ideas, as well as supporting existing ideas in production and setting up guest performance opportunities for their existing works ("Stille Tanzparty", "Als es plötzlich wir waren - Anleitungen zum Tanz oder andere Zustände" and "wir kommen auf umwegen - ein audio_tanz_spaziergang").

They want to gain a clearer overview of the individual production steps so that you can plan and implement them better.
They will discuss artistic and dramaturgical issues on an ad hoc basis and work on the further development or reworking of plays, so that the content-related artistic work determines the production requirements and structures.
