Sabrina Fischer completed her basic commercial training in a social insurance company. In 2014, she played in ‘Leben, Lügen, Sterben’ (Theater Neumarkt Zurich, directed by Uta Plate). This experience prompted her to start studying theatre pedagogy at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in 2016. During her studies, she was part of artist collectives in various contexts and travelled as a performer and actress. Sabrina Fischer is currently writing her first theatre play, which deals with sexual violence against women. Gaps, the supposedly unspeakable and the words between the lines have fascinated her since childhood.
Project
With the project un.um.gäng.lich (working title), Sabrina Fischer goes in search of hidden places and their stories. After the initial research and collection phase, she starts the writing process.
The resulting textual basis serves as a starting point for developing a performance in a further step using performative and/or choreographic working methods.
The leitmotif of the piece is the theme of transience.
