Barbara Giongo
Barbara Giongo lives and works in Geneva. She worked for 18 years with the Compagnie L’Alakran and subsequently served as Co-Director of the Grütli, a theater dedicated to the production, creation, and performance of dance and theater pieces. As a producer specializing in the performing arts, she enjoys supporting artists in the development of their stage projects—both in terms of production and in broader reflections on the realization of performances and the sustainability of projects and careers. For her, production is a tool in service of projects, a creative and joyful instrument that allows for artistic thinking and dreaming. She also enjoys contributing her perspective to the construction and dramaturgy of a piece, questioning the form and content of projects. She views production as material, not as a set of constraints to be subordinated to.

Coaching offer:
"I support artistic development processes with a focus on refining, structuring, and realizing projects. Together, we sharpen ideas, clarify dramaturgical lines, and define the next concrete steps between artistic vision and professional implementation. My work begins where a project is already in development. In coaching sessions, we reflect on key decisions, structure workflows, and fine-tune formats or production logics. My expertise lies particularly in interdisciplinary approaches at the intersections of music, sound, space, and staging. The coaching is a focused exchange on equal footing and complements existing mentoring or production structures."
