Project
I belong. I belong. Is a dance project that aims to raise awareness in schools and other public places such as museums and perhaps festivals. From kindergarten onwards, children who do not conform to the norm are enrolled in special education schools and often do not come out of these special settings for the rest of their lives. The dance project aims to show how society carries out segregation and how painful marginalisation is. I want to move my audience and communicate positively through dance. I belong receives the necessary structure from my coach and she advises me during the development of the piece. This gives me a real chance to show my piece at the desired venues at home and perhaps even in neighboring countries.
