Mo Thomson: Born in Vienna in 1973, she has 20 years of professional experience in the event business and has a wide range of knowledge and a large international network. During her time in Austria at Barracuda Holding, she worked as a successful booker and was involved in the organisation of countless festivals and shows. She was also a trainer for the interns who rotated every six months. After moving to Switzerland from Austria in 2015 for love, she worked at Mainland Music AG until July 2021, where she was responsible for operational accounting & controlling and also acted as show and festival accountant. She recently set up her own company "Sandbird Creative Services" and now offers event consulting with her decades of expertise. She continues to work as an international booker and books Tom Walker and Hollow Coves, among others, throughout Switzerland.

JODOQ: After completing his film music and composition studies at the ZHdK, Cédric Joël Ziegler (1995) revives his past in pop songwriting. Modern pop production, as known from artists such as Billie Eilish or Bon Iver, merge with soundscapes of neo-classical music and film music, reminiscent of Olafur Arnalds or Sigur Ros. His creative approach to writing and composing also impressed at the m4music Demotape Clinic 2021: "You take me on a journey and plant images in my head," said jury member and curator of Radio Couleur 3 Francois Küffer about Hunch when the song was named Pop Demo of the Year. JODOQ was able to record another milestone in the still young career of the Zurich-based pop musician when he presented his second single Euphoria, which will see the light of day in the streaming world in January 2022, live with the Basel Symphony Orchestra at the packed Stadtcasino Basel.

Project

The coaching will focus on the timing of the EP and strategies and options for an effective live realisation. We will make use of all available tools and competences and pay the greatest possible attention to the most appropriate framework in order to fully utilise the artist's potential.

In a first step, target expectations and deadlines are discussed and defined, which we - closely coordinated with JODOQS publisher Mojo3 - want to realise realistically and harmonise in a meaningful way.
Similarly, we will work on the various line-up options for the live shows, taking into account efficiency, functionality and financial viability. We would like to take a closer look at several formations and establish them as part of the coaching program.

A further focus will be on building up our own national and international network, which should strengthen JODOQ's profile and status. We will deal with the artist's time management in order to maximise creativity.
A look behind the scenes and general dialogue with decision-makers should be supported in the best possible way.
