Pauline Mayor (*1993, Fribourg) lives and works in Geneva. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from ECAL (University of Art, Lausanne) in 2018. Passionate about printing techniques on paper and textiles, she worked for a year in Paris for the haute couture house Koché. Upon returning to Switzerland, after an assignment at Friart Kunsthalle Fribourg, she was appointed Head of Communications at Théâtre Saint-Gervais in Geneva. At the same time, she completed pre-professional theater training under the guidance of Christian Geffroy Schlittler in Lausanne. For the 2021 edition of Belluard, she presented her first solo performance, Je ne sais plus si je dois rire ou pleurer. She is a resident of TRNSTN RADIO alongside Joséphine de Weck. In 2022, she continued her performance project at the invitation of Rebecca Solari at Forde (GVA). Currently, she balances her role at Théâtre Saint-Gervais with artistic assistance in performance projects and her work at the graphic design studio Figures.club, which she founded in 2018 with Loic Volkart in Lausanne. Together, they won the Swiss Design Award in 2023.

Rebecca Solari (*1996) is a Swiss transdisciplinary artist based in Biel/Bienne. She graduated from the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam with a Master’s degree in Dirty Art. Her practice revolves around performance, video, music, and installation, with themes centered on self-representation and the deconstruction of pre-established codes of social, gender, and contextual identities. Rebecca Solari is a member of Crème Solaire and the music/performance project fulmine.

Projekt

Rebecca Solari navigates transdisciplinarily across various mediums and universes. She is active in the music scene with her projects fulmine and Crème solaire, as well as in the visual and performing arts. This multidirectionality, which makes her projects eclectic and explosive, requires great flexibility and strong clarity in addressing the different dialectics of the projects. For this reason, Pauline Mayor has been invited to follow the work process involved in preparing Rebecca Solari’s new set-piece through the fulmine project. The main objective is to best coordinate the hybrid aspects of the project. Pauline Mayor, who has experience in theater, directing, dramaturgy, visual arts, and writing, is offering her support during 2024-2025 to assess the project’s eligibility and feasibility.
