The Swiss-American choreographer Joshua Monten studied literature and cultural anthropology at Duke University before discovering dance at the relatively late age of 20. As a dancer he performed with Bern Ballett, Stadttheater Heidelberg and Öff Öff Aerial Productions. His dance company (founded in 2012) has since given more than 1200 performances in 40 countries. Joshua Monten regularly choreographs for theater, opera, ballet, museums and arts outreach programs. Indeed, his work as a choreographer is informed by these encounters with diverse audiences and varied forms of artistic expression. He has received choreographic commissions from Bühnen Bern, Theater St. Gallen, Ballet National du Rhin, Staatstheater Nürnberg, Kaserne Basel, ZHdK and Art Basel. He is a lecturer at the Bern University of the Arts.

Rebecca Minten (*1999, IT/CH/DE) is a clarinetist and composer with a passionate interest in dance. Her artistic practice focuses on experimental music, transdisciplinary creation, and improvisation. She is particularly drawn to alternative formats and actively engages in projects that embed experimental music into diverse contexts. Her work is guided by a deep interest in collaborative creation and socially engaged practices. These principles led her to establish the transdisciplinary collective IPSO in 2020. Rebecca also performs in an improvisation duo with Luz Gonzalez, as a solo electro-acoustic bass clarinetist, with the Tzupati Orchestra (Balkan/Folk), and alongside Josefa Ibarra (Latin-Pop). Her solo project was awarded the Berlin Prize for Young Artist in 2024.
