Alexandre Lecoultre (1987) is an author of prose and poetry as well as a translator of poetry. His work Moisson was published in 2015 by Éditions Monographic; based on this work, he created a musical reading in a trio with actor Jérôme Melly and pianist Lucas Buclin. His first novel, Peter und so weiter (Peter and So On), was published in 2020 by l'Âge d'Homme and won the Swiss Literature Prize in 2021. A stage performance inspired by this book was produced with accordionist Julien Paillard, with whom he forms the duo Und so weiter. In collaboration with painter Claire Nicole and the typographic workshop Le Cadratin, the artist's book Pépins de pomme (Apple Seeds) was published in May 2020. His translations of poems from Spanish to French, by Raúl Gomez Jattin and María Mercedes Carranza, were published in 2020 (in the journals Europe and Rehauts, as well as the newspaper Le Courrier). His engagement with poetry makes him attentive to images, rhythms, and sounds, as well as to the edges of language and genres.
