Project

The basic theme of the mentorship is thinking in terms of books: how do you get from the initial, the fragmentary, the loose collection to a finished text? It’s all about the writer’s craft: constellating, condensing, omitting or adding, working on details. Another leitmotif of the joint work is the question of lyrical use of language. What makes a poem a poem? In addition to the submitted text ‘Die Vorübergehenden’, a poetic essay about a care relationship and the longing for closeness in late capitalism, the mentorship will also focus on other material brought in.
