Madeleine Schuppli (1965) is a curator, lecturer and writer based in Zurich. She has realized, among other things, the exhibition ‘Wade Guyton & Rebecca Warren’ for the Bechtler Foundation (2023/24) and co-curated ‘Hannah Villiger: Amaze me’ (2023) for the Muzeum Susch. She lectures at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB) and the University of Fribourg. She also regularly curates art-and-construction projects and writes for the NZZ, among others. Madeleine Schuppli is a board member of the Zurich Centre for Architecture (ZAZ) and co-chair of the Fotomuseum Winterthur foundation board. Madeleine Schuppli studied art history in Geneva, Hamburg and Zurich and holds an MAS in cultural management from the University of Basel. From 1996 to 2000, she was curator at Kunsthalle Basel and from 2000 to 2007 she was director of the Kunstmuseum Thun. She then served as director of the Aargauer Kunsthaus (2007-2020) and as head of the Visual Arts Division at Pro Helvetia (2020-2022).

Cristian Zabalaga (b. 1986 Punta Arenas) is an artist based in Zurich with master's degrees in architecture and fine arts. He moved to Berlin in 2015, received a DAAD scholarship in collaboration with the Düsseldorf Art Academy in 2019, was a research assistant at ETHZ (LUS) in 2020 and received an IFCAR research scholarship in 2023. His works have been exhibited in international institutions such as MAC Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (CHL), Palazzo Mora and Palazzo Ca' Zanardi (IT), Centro Cultural Matucana 100 (CHL), Galeria Trece (CHL), Centro Cultural Matta (AR) and Museo Bienal de Cerveira (PT). In 2023, he completed a permanent public installation for a cantonal school in Zurich (KaB). Since 2024, he has been co-curator of the PORTLAND art space in Zurich-Oerlikon.
