Project

BESTIARIUM - A variety show for the forgotten

A bestiary of forgotten animals is to be created from found bones, collected objects and semi-finished theatre figures. Animals that seem commonplace to us, but whose stories are rarely told: A house rat, a blowfly or a trembling spider are thrust into the limelight. Limbs, heads and bodies form and transform into new, curious shapes. Inspired by dusty zoology books and classic variety theatre acts, they sing us stories about collecting, holding on to and forgetting things. A play for the street, for the forest, for the stage.

As a mentor, Marius Kob will accompany the project from concept to premiere and support it in production and dramaturgy matters.
