wilderbluescht – that's Johanna Schaub and Christoph Blum. Both born in 1990 (she: Hochdorf LU, he: Giswil OW). Both studied music (she: cello, he: composition and pan flute). Both love versatility, play other instruments (she: yodeling, he: double bass, accordion, vocals) and enjoy theatre (she: theatre pedagogy and clowning, he: folk theatre). Together, they combine music and theatre in their own unique way and explore new paths with Swiss folk culture and music. Lovingly, personally, and sometimes absurdly. Their first piece, «zart & zääch», focused on Swiss folk songs and was awarded the «Jungsegler» small arts promotion prize in 2022. wilderbluescht also enjoys performing for young audiences («Ratz & Flitz wennd öppis fiire») and loves collaborations («Jodel goes South!»).
Project
After four intensive and highly instructive years, wilderbluescht is faced with the task of sustainably building on its successful start on the Swiss small-scale performing arts stages. The mentoring with Catherine Bloch supports and accompanies the development of the second piece for an adult audience at a strategic level. The aim of the mentoring is to sharpen and strengthen the “wilderbluescht brand,” to develop a professional, tailor-made PR strategy, and to clarify internal organizational processes.
