The Little Garden on the Gurten
Gurtengärtli – the name of the natural, organic garden on Bern's home mountain that was conceived especially for kids. We warmly invite you to discover the Gärtli: from March to October on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Come on into the Gurtengärtli
The Gurtengärtli is a joint project between Gurten – Park im Grünen, the Culture Percentage and Bioterra. Young and old are invited to experience the many facets of nature here. It also provides a space for all sorts of garden animals, as well as a colourful array of plants.

The Gurtengärtli adventure
In order to make the garden's natural life as accessible as possible to children and adults, helpers are at hand two days a week. Through hands-on experience, visitors learn about organic gardening and nature. In addition to helping out in the garden, they can enjoy making things, following worm trails or processing the vegetables harvested.
