Overcoming isolation after a denied asylum request
The Kombi project brings people whose asylum applications have been rejected together with volunteers from the region.
At Kombi, people whose asylum applications have been rejected meet volunteers and get to know each other. The group meets on six evenings over the course of six months to exchange ideas, also organising excursions for two or three people at a time. Kombi is a win-win situation for everyone involved. Asylum seekers break through their isolation and familiarise themselves with asylum procedures and support services. As experts, they share their experiences with the emergency aid system and help shape the Kombi project themselves.

From the project team:
«Kombi lets asylum seekers share their experiences with the emergency aid system.»
