DoubleFilm offers a one-year coaching programme for producers, screenwriters and directors.
How does DoubleFilm work?
The coaching sessions focus either on artistic work, reflecting on and testing new ways of working or supporting the next steps towards pre-fessionalisation.
DoubleFilm enables 3 individuals or production companies per year to work with a coach advertised on the website.
Requirements
- Only applications from Swiss residents are accepted. Each applicant may only apply once per year.
- The working doubles (coach/mentee) determine the content, objectives and location of the mentoring/coaching individually.
- The coaching usually lasts one year. A total of 10 meetings are planned.
What we support
The current call is dedicated to the three main topics:
- «Fair interview practices x dealing with biographical material»
- «Diversity and inclusion / representation of marginalised people in film»
- «AI in film production»
Deadlines and decisions
At the end of the call for applications (approximately 3 months), the mentors review the applications together with an expert.
The selection process and determination of the winner takes a maximum of two weeks. After this period, applicants receive their acceptance or rejection notice.
