Dimitri de Perrot (born 1976 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland) is a sound artist, director, and stage designer. In his work, he brings together sound, space, and staging to create immersive environments at the intersection of concert, installation, and theatre. His projects tour internationally and have received numerous awards. An important aspect of his artistic practice is the development of collaborative projects and formats that open up and transmit artistic processes. Diane Albasini is an actress, director, and dramaturge from Sion, Switzerland. Since 2018, she has performed in productions by, among others, Mathias Brossard / Collectif CCC, Lou Ciszewski, Mélanie Lamon, and Purple Soup Crew. As an assistant director and tour manager, she has worked with Nicolas Stemann, Pauline Epiney, and François Gremaud, with whom she continues to tour on European stages.

Since 2026, she has been developing documentary projects together with Mezzanine Productions, in which collected archives are translated into performative formats. These projects allow performers to move between reality and fiction. They include talk show plastique, presented at the C’est déjà demain Festival at Théâtre du Loup in Geneva, and Résilience : kit de démontage, which she co-wrote with Pablo-Antoine Neufmars. The piece will be presented in 2027 at Théâtre Les Halles in Sierre and Espace Amaretto in Lausanne.

Project

Sooner or later, all of us are compelled to demonstrate resilience.

But what if, together, we searched for alternatives to this imperative?

Drawing on interviews conducted in Switzerland, Lebanon, Belgium, and Quebec, Résilience : kit de démontage unfolds as an urgent conversation on stage. Based on audio and visual archives, the intimate, social, and political voices of those labelled “resilient” intertwine, moving between documentary and fiction.

The stage becomes a space in which the audience can immerse itself in these collected testimonies.

DoubleThéâtre put me in contact with Dimitri de Perrot, an artist renowned for his sound installations. As an experienced director, he is supporting me in the development of a sensory stage format, as well as in building collaborative working methods with artists from disciplines beyond theatre.
