Arthur Hnatek (pronounced Na-tek) is a Swiss drummer, composer, and electronic artist known for pushing the boundaries between instrumental virtuosity and contemporary club culture. Winner of the Swiss Music Prize in 2022, he has developed a singular musical language that blends highly technical drumming, modular synthesizers, and immersive electronic textures. In 2024, he released his first solo album on Mouthwatering Records, asserting an aesthetic positioned between radical improvisation and dancefloor energy. His music is broadcast on BBC6 Music and played in international clubs, notably by Laurent Garnier. He collaborates with Barker, Stenny, Taut, Noémi Büchi, Ripperton, and Tillman Ostendarp. Simultaneously, he leads the Arthur Hnatek Trio, winner of the ZKB Jazz Prize 2019, whose album Static was released on Whirlwind Recordings in 2021. A graduate of the New School in New York, he has toured with Tigran Hamasyan and the Erik Truffaz Quartet. He lives in Zurich.

Eckhart is an electro-punk trio based in Vevey, founded in 2023 by John Silvestre (singer, producer). He is joined by Laurent Glur (drummer) and Olivia Madhuri (vocals). Drawing inspiration from electronic styles, punk rock, hip hop, and industrial noise, the band’s sound is original and visceral, exploring and blending different genres – between danceable atmospheres, synth wave, and trip-hop, saturated synthesizers, frantic and glitchy rhythms borrowed from breakcore. Their debut album Far From God is set to be released in May 2024 on the Blizzard Audio Club label. This is followed by a second instrumental album DeadGlass / Get Rid Of Everything Vol.1 in 2025. The third LP He's Dancing, He Says He Will Never Die is scheduled for release in May 2026, also on Blizzard Audio Club.

Projekt

The band is preparing a creative residency with Arthur Hnatek, drummer and electronic music producer. The goal of the residency is to explore new compositions and new ways to integrate acoustic drums with electronic instrumentation through the use of triggering, sampling, and other electro-acoustic effects, in order to experiment with a new creative process and renew Eckhart's live performance.
