What drives me
I was confronted early on with the topics that drive me today: inclusion and communication. My own disability has shown me that inclusion is not a given – but it should be. I am driven by the desire to make inclusion perceptible and tangible through communication. I am convinced that inclusion can only be shaped actively. To achieve this, people with disabilities must be able to participate in all areas of life. I have therefore campaigned for the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
«We create realities through language. Our words are the building blocks. Communication ensures that we build a common foundation.»
