A tribute to the volunteers at the Vostok community radio

The independent Radio Vostok has been run by volunteers for 15 years. To mark this anniversary, the Geneva-based radio station is paying tribute to their commitment. As part of the ‘VostoKare’ project, it is working with around 20 volunteers to draw up a charter designed to enhance their sense of recognition and well-being. During workshops, the volunteers discuss together how their experiences of volunteering can be improved and how their contribution can be given greater recognition in everyday life. The charter is intended to promote cohesion and help ensure that volunteers feel at home and remain committed in the long term.
