Dedicated teams of volunteers at the plusQ'île festival

Every year, over 150 volunteers help to make the Festival for Circus and More in Biel a reality. Through the project ‘Parcours Bénévoles’, the association supports them from the very first point of contact and well beyond the end of their placement. All volunteers are provided with clear information, designated contact persons and a thorough introduction. During the festival, short shifts, quiet spaces and, where necessary, dedicated support ensure a positive experience. An installation featuring the names of all volunteers makes their commitment immediately apparent. After the festival, the volunteers get together for a thank-you event and have a chat. This brings people together and encourages them to be part of the next festival too.
