Empowering volunteers and fostering cohesion
Volunteers who help people in need can count on lots of support from Caritas Aargau.
At Caritas Aargau, more than 550 volunteers are currently helping people in difficult circumstances. They give their time, listen and offer support in everyday life. To ensure that volunteers can continue their work for the long term, Caritas Aargau works with them to develop a support programme. It emphasises self-care and offers regular opportunities for discussion, further training and personalised support throughout the placement.
