disframe offers financial support to creative artists with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses, thus enabling them to devote themselves to their artistic work independently.
disframe is looking for projects that already take inclusion, intersectionality and diversity into account in their development process and base the design of their working methods on these aspects. Topics may include current challenges facing our society, such as new ways of ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience.

What we support
disframe supports projects and project ideas in which Deaf artists or artists with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses can devote themselves to artistic work in a self-determined manner.
The projects we are looking for are committed to inclusive models of cooperation. Key aspects can include, for example, how to deal with time or the need for breaks, personal and technical assistance and spatial conditions (see also the ‘Conditions’ section).
The projects supported can be in the idea generation phase or the realisation phase.
Institutions that are bound to corresponding subsidy agreements with their own diversity and inclusion processes are not eligible for funding.
